Wake up, school officials. Don't you get it? Every time you close schools for a tiny bit of snow, the kids are at the theaters and shopping malls. They need to be in school, learning.

The grassroots anti-establishment National Tea Party Convention was held at a resort, where participants dined on steak and shrimp and Sarah Palin expressed oneness with the group by only charging it $100,000 for her appearance. It reminds me of how out of touch and easily led these people are.

Sarah Palin stated in her speech to the National Tea Party Convention that the movement is not about money. Oh really? If that's true, then why is the convention sponsor, Tea Party Nation, a for-profit group?

One assumes Palin travels heavily armed. It would be nice to know the inventory of her arsenal when she visits Kansas.
