MARLA DIPMAN

  • Published Thursday, Feb. 11, 2010, at 12:06 a.m.

A claims adjuster for more than eight years at IMA, Dipman was promoted to her new job on Jan. 1.

But that doesn't mean she's done with her old one — at least until a replacement is found.

"Right now I am maintaining contact with the representatives and the clients that I already had, along with the supervisor management," Dipman said. "Obviously I'm staying very busy."

IMA provides worker's compensation third-party claim adjustment services for several clients in the Midwest.

Although Dipman is still doing some claims adjusting, she said she plans to market IMA to help grow the business.

"We would like to bring in more business to be able to grow our self-service department at IMA," she said. "I will be working with the program manager at IMA to help with the marketing, and we have a lot of vendors in other sites that help us bring in business and identify the potential self-insured people of the state."
