Kansas: The Jayhawks won their eighth straight game Saturday against Nebraska, 75-64. KU has won its Big 12 games by an average of 13.1 points per game. The Jayhawks lead the Big 12 in field-goal percentage (49.3), three-point field-goal percentage (41.0), field-goal percentage defense (36.6), assists (18.0) and assist-to-turnover ratio (1.4). KU is ranked in the top three in all but three Big 12 statistical categories. The Jayhawks have won five of their last six against the Longhorns.

Texas: The Longhorns enter tonight's game having lost four of their last six games after their 80-71 loss at Oklahoma on Saturday. Texas took over the No. 1 ranking from Kansas after the Jayhawks' Jan. 10 loss at Tennessee, held the ranking for one week before starting their current skid with a loss at Kansas State. Texas has ridden national player-of-the-year candidate Damion James and needs to get more out of big man Dexter Pittman to reach its potential.

RPIs as of Friday: Kansas 1, Texas 15.
