Joseph Bonugli, DB, 6-0, 192, San Antonio (Warren) — Three-star prospect, 50th-best safety as senior in 2008 (Rivals). Had 115 tackles and three interceptions as a senior and was two-time district defensive MVP. Enrolled at K-State this spring.

Billy Cosh, QB, 6-2, 196, Gambrills, Md. (Arundel) _ Three-star prospect, No. 46 QB (Rivals) who holds Maryland high school single-season records for passing yards (3,913), touchdowns (56), completions (292) and attempts (448). Record holder with 112 career TD passes, Maryland public school record holder with 7,433 career passing yards. Father is K-State’s defensive coordinator Chris Cosh. Enrolled in spring semester.

Deveon Dinwiddie, RB, 5-9, 175, Hutchinson _ Two-star prospect, No. 15 Kansas player (Rivals) who was the Ark Valley-Chisholm Trail League’s co-offensive player of the year. Helped Hutch to four straight state championships.

Laton Dowling, DL, 6-3, 235, Dodge City _ Three-star prospect, No. 10 Kansas player (Rivals). All-Class 6A player who played tight end at middle linebacker for the Red Demons.

Kason Hostrup, OL, 6-5, 300, Sachse, Texas _ Two-star prospect (Rivals) who was a top 20 offensive lineman by TexasFootball.com. Named to all-region team.

Kyle Klein, DL, 6-5, 205, Loveland, Colo. _ Two-star prospect (Rivals) who was Colorado all-4A by Denver Post. Caught 43 passes for 750 yards and eight touchdowns at tight end last season. Played quarterback as a junior. Older brother Collin is a sophomore on the football team.

Cody Marley, LB, 6-1, 230, Denton, Texas (Guyer) _ Three-star prospect, No. 72 inside linebacker (Rivals 2008) who led Guyer to the 4A semifinals in 2008. Enrolled at KSU this semester.

Tomasi Mariner, OL, 6-4, 305, Topeka (Washburn Rural) _ Two-star prospect (Rivals) who was All-Centennial League. Enrolled at K-State this semester.

Destin Mosley, WR, 5-9, 175, Jefferson, Texas _ Three-star prospect, No. 88 athlete (Rivals) who rushed for 1,200 yards and 11 touchdowns as junior.

Demarcus Robinson, RB, 5-9, 192, Wichita (Northwest) _ Four-star prospect, No. 18 RB prospect (Rivals) who rushed for 1,720 yards as a senior, nearly 5,000 in his career. An Eagle Top 11 selection as a senior.

Curry Sexton, WR, 6-0, 190, Abilene _ Two-star prospect and No. 14 Kansas prospect (Rivals) who was All-4A as a defensive back.

Tate Snyder, LB, 5-11, 205, Manhattan _ Two-star prospect (Rivals) who was All-6A at linebacker. Led team to 10-1 finish and league title. Grandson of KSU coach Bill Snyder and son of associate AD/associate head coach Sean Snyder.

Darious Thomas, DB, 6-0, 180, Dallas (Cedar Hill) _ Appeared in nine KSU games with one start and 11 tackles. Two-star prospect (Rivals, Scout) out of high school.

Courtney Thompson, DB, 6-0, 180, Miramar, Fla. (Everglades) _ Played quarterback as well with 85 completions, 975 yards and 10 touchdowns as senior in 2008. Had 50 tackles, 13 pass breakups and four interceptions as a junior (2007).

Zach Trujillo, TE, 6-4, 240, Edmond, Okla. (Deer Creek) — Had 39 career catches for 628 yards and 10 touchdowns. Currently enrolled at K-State.

Tre Walker, LB, 6-4, 205, Olathe (North) — Three-star prospect, No. 9 Kansas player (Rivals) who was an all-metro KC linebacker and All-6A. Olathe North was 13-0 and won 6A.

Ty Zimmerman, QB, 6-2, 200, Junction City — An Eagle Top 11 player in 2008 as a high school senior. Completed 144 passes for 1,920 yards and 25 touchdowns, while rushing 133 times for 1,046 yards and 18 touchdowns. Played for his father, Randall Zimmerman, at Junction City. Enrolled at K-State.

Junior college/transfer

Jordan Allred, OL, 6-4, 300, Thousand Oaks, Calif. (Pierce CC) — Three-star prospect (Rivals). Western State Conference all-league OL, team was 7-4 and earned berth in regional playoffs. Named Region IV All-California. Was team’s long snapper. Enrolled at KSU this semester.

Javonta Boyd, DL, 6-4, 302, St. Petersburg, Fla. (Butler CC) _ No. 43 juco player (Rivals) who had 54 tackles last season. Signed with K-State in February 2008 but enrolled at Butler and played two seasons. Enrolled at K-State this semester.

Prizell Brown, DL, 6-4, 265, Austin (Blinn CC) _ Started five of final six K-State games last season, collecting 11 tackles. Three-star prospect (Rivals) in 2008.

Adam Davis, DL, 6-1, 242, Folkston, Ga. (Hutchinson CC) _ Four-star recruit, No. 38 juco prospect (Rivals) who was second-team NJCAA All-American last season. Had 14.5 sacks as a freshman, 8.5 as sophomore (4.5 vs. Butler).

Manase Foketi, OL, 6-5, 325, Hesperia, Calif. (Mt. San Antonio CC) _ Three-star prospect (Rivals) who was second-team All-Southern California Football Association. Team was 15-3 over two seasons.

Ray Kibble, DL, 6-5, 310, Houston (Navarro JC) _ Three-star prospect (Rivals, Scout) who was second-team All-Southwest Junior College Football Conference.

Sammuel Lamur, QB, 6-4, 215, West Palm Beach, Fla. (Joliet JC) _ Redshirted at K-State last season, earned Red Raider Award for top scout-team contributor.

Matthew Pearson, DB, 6-0, 190, Wichita (Hutchinson CC) _ Two-year starting safety for the Blue Dragons who had 49 tackles in 10 games. Played high school ball at Heights. Currently enrolled at KSU.

Brodrick Smith, WR, 6-3, 205, Garden City (Minnesota) _ Sat out 2009 at KSU after transferring from Minnesota, will be sophomore in 2010. Started two games at UM with five catches for 50 yards and a touchdown. Three-star prospect at Garden City High (Rivals, Scout). Father, Lawrence Tolbert, played for K-State from 1986-88.

Terrance Sweeney, DB, 5-10, 175, Houston (Blinn College) _ Appeared in five K-State games at DB and special teams with five tackles.

Justin Williams, DL, 6-0, 290, Grand Prairie, Texas (Navarro CC) — Three-star prospect (Rivals) who helped Navarro (10-1) to second place in Southwestern Junior College Football Conference.
