Valentine's Day isn't for another week and a half. But if you haven't started making your dinner plans, you're already a little late.

Although the holiday lands on a Sunday this year — rather than on a busy weekend night as it has the past two years — several restaurants around town are preparing for crowds of hungry romantics with special offers and plans.

Among them:

* Broadview Hotel: The downtown hotel at 400 W. Douglas is offering a package on Saturday, Feb. 13, that begins at 7:30 p.m. with a dinner and cash bar with live music by Uche and Scott and Two Guitars. It'll be followed by a party that will include dancing and music by Lip Survis. The party for two is $35. Dinner and party is $69. Dinner, party and an overnight stay at the Broadview plus a Sunday morning breakfast for two is $169. Make reservations by calling 316-262-5000 or 800-362-2929.

* Exploration Place: The museum, at 300 N. McLean Blvd., is offering a dinner/dance/hotel package this year. The dinner and dance is from 7 to 10 p.m. Feb. 14 and will include choice of prime rib, salmon or chicken, a rose, a glass of champagne, a cash bar and live dance music by the Tim Henry Experience with Jerry Hahn and Bill Caldwell. Attendees also can check out the museum's traveling exhibit "Wild Music: The Sounds & Songs of Life."

Prices start at $199 for a package including an overnight stay at Hotel Old Town, $149 with an overnight stay at Cambridge suites or $100 per couple for just the dinner, dance and exhibit. RSVP by Tuesday to John Whitmer, Exploration Place sales and special events manager, 316-660-0676.

* Oeno, 330 N. Mead: The wine bar is putting on a four-course wine dinner on Feb. 14 that's $50 a person. It's from 6 to 9 p.m. Sunday. Credit card reservations are required by calling 316-440-5000.

* P.F. Chang's, 1401 N. Waterfront Parkway: The Waterfront restaurant is offering a prix fixe lunch or dinner special on Feb. 14, which includes the Chang's for Two four-course menu for $39.95. Each course — soup or salad, appetizer, entree and dessert — includes several choices. Call for reservations at 316-634-2211.

* Sabor Latin Bar & Grill, Old Town and Waterfront: Both restaurants are offering multicourse dinners on Feb. 14 for $40 a person. At the Old Town restaurant at 309 N. Mead, a four-course dinner includes choice of appetizer, soup and salad, entree and dessert. Call 316-201-4880 for reservations. The Waterfront restaurant at 1720 N. Webb Road is offering choice of hors d'oeuvres, entree and dessert. For a reservation, call 316-927-2267.

* Tommy's, 2121 N. Tyler Road: The west-side supper club is usually closed on Sundays but will open for Valentine's Day from 3 to 9 p.m. Tommy's will serve its regular dinner menu but is not accepting reservations.

* Uptown Bistro, 301 N. Mead: The Old Town Square restaurant is offering a four-course dinner special from Thursday through Feb. 14. It's $55 a person. For reservations, call 316-262-3232.
