WICHITA — Sunflower Bank has acquired the deposits of a failed Missouri bank.
Leeton, Mo.-based Bank of Leeton reopened Saturday as a branch of Sunflower, which is based in Salina and has $1.7 billion in assets.
The single-branch Bank of Leeton had $22 million in deposits and $22 million in assets. It was closed late Friday by the Missouri Division of Finance.
The acquisition gives Sunflower its first location in Missouri. And it brings the bank's total branches to 34.
