Votes are now being taken in The Wichita Eagle's Ninth Annual Great Outdoors Photo Contest.

From more than 450 entries, Eagle photographers narrowed the field to 15 adult and 5 youth finalists.

The public is being asked to pick the final winners.

Voting will stop at about noon Saturday so votes can be tallied.

The winners will be published on Sunday's Outdoors page. All voters are automatically registered to win one of 15 free photos taken by Eagle photographers.

Voting also will take place at The Eagle's booth at the Kansas Sports, Boat and Travel Show at the Kansas Coliseum beginning Thursday.

All who entered the contest have a free ticket to the show at the ticket window at the Coliseum.
