When the airports start these full-body screenings, it's going to bring out all kinds of perverts for that job.

So now the Transportation Security Administration will start checking everyone's underwear, and the terrorists will simply find another way to get explosives onto a plane. Next they'll be putting them inside their bodies, so they can't be detected.

The Obama administration is absolutely clueless on how to fight terrorism. It couldn't connect the dots when the bomber's father gave it the information.

* * *

To help reduce paperwork in our bloated bureaucracy, the following can be said so it does not have to be repeated: If it was done right, it was because of the Obama administration. If it was done wrong, it was the Bush administration's fault. Remember this; next disaster there will be a test.

Republicans had the chance to fix the TSA security holes. But they, along with President Bush, refused to even acknowledge the Sept. 11 Commission recommendations.

I am a year away from participating in the communist health care system called Medicare. I will have to quit paying $600-a-month premiums and start paying $120. I hope I can still find a doctor and a hospital that will accept me. I may even start smoking again.

It's time for a class action lawsuit against Cox Communications for all the "paid programming." We're paying to watch TV shows, not commercials.

This is the time of year that the gyms are full with people trying to get healthier and keep their resolutions. I say welcome.

The city snow-removal crews did a very good job during the recent storm and should be commended and acknowledged. Thank you.

Honest people still exist. Two days before Christmas, I was shopping at Towne West Square. I dropped a debit card out of my purse; it contained a month's child support. Some honest person found this card and, in all of the Christmas activity, took the time to turn it in. Thank you.
