Eagle reporter Roy Wenzl and photojournalist Travis Heying will appear Saturday on Countryman's Kansas to discuss their recent project "The Miracle of Father Kapaun."

The show will air from 10 to 11 a.m. on KNSS, 1330-AM, in Wichita. The show also will be streamed live on the Internet at host Gene Countryman's Web site, www.flatandhappy.com. A podcast of the show also will be available on the site.

Countryman's Kansas recently completed its 21st year on the air.

Wenzl wrote on an eight-part series on Father Emil Kapaun, who died in a North Korean prison camp in 1951. The Army has recommended Kapaun receive the Medal of Honor and the Vatican is investigating him for possible sainthood.

Heying directed and produced a 45-minute documentary on Kapaun, who was born and raised in Pilsen before becoming an Army chaplain.
