Prosecutors today charged an 18-year-old Mulvane-area man in the shooting deaths of a Wichita couple whose bodies were found in their North Chautauqua home on Thanksgiving Day.
Prosecutors expect to decide Wednesday whether to charge a 17-year-old Wichita man who also has been arrested in the case.
Today, prosecutors with the District Attorney's Office charged Samuel Holton, 18, with two counts of first-degree murder and one count of aggravated robbery.
One count alleges that Holton killed Jessie M. Foust, 25, a mother and Wichita State University student.
Another count alleges that Holton killed Pharon Adrian Jackson, 26, a father and a local rap musician, during a robbery or robbery attempt.
The third count accuses Holton of taking clothing and jewelry from Jackson while Holton was armed with a gun.
The couple's 4-year-old and 18-month-old sons were not injured but were found wandering around the home, where police say the bodies had been lying for several hours before a relative came to check on the couple.
