Wichita police are investigating a shooting this evening that sent one man to Wesley Medical Center with a gunshot wound to the leg.
Emergency dispatchers said the shooting occurred near Shadybrook and Grove at 5:10 p.m.
Witnesses said the victim left the scene in a dark colored SUV while the shooter left in another vehicle.
The victim was dropped off at Wesley by a vehicle that left the hospital before police arrived.
Police are looking for both vehicles, and have sealed off the 2400 block of East Shadybrook while they investigate.
