Santa Claus to pose for photos with pets

Santa Claus is coming to town, to pose for photos with pets and their owners and raise money for local animal welfare groups.

Here's a schedule of some of the Santa sittings, with dates, times, places and the groups that will benefit:

Dec. 5:

All Paws Pet Center east, 21st and Rock Road (Shops at Tallgrass), 11 a.m.-5 p.m.; Pals Animal Rescue

Dec. 6:

PetSmart east, 3615 N. Rock Road, 11 a.m.-4 p.m.; Kansas Humane Society

PetSmart west, 533 S. Tracy; 11 a.m.-4 p.m.; Lifeline Animal Placement and Protection

Dec. 12:
