What makes a street walkable is mostly in the eye of the beholder.
So the folks at Goody Clancy, the consultant leading the downtown revitalization master plan, would like to enlist you.
The group plans "walk-shops" Dec. 4-5.
The one Dec. 4 is from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.; Dec. 5's is 9 a.m. to noon. Both start at 523 E. Douglas with presentations before the consultants dispatch people throughout downtown to observe and photograph the things they love and hate.
A "walk-shop talk" happens Dec. 5 from 12:30 to 3:30 p.m. at the same address.
Consultants will also be at that address from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., during the First Friday music crawl.
