The proposed Chisholm Creek Casino Resort will host information meetings this week about the project near Mulvane and about potential job and vendor opportunities.
The meetings:
* 7 p.m. today , Memorial Auditorium, 208 N. Washington Ave., Wellington
* 7 p.m. Tuesday, Mulvane Recreation Center, 632 E. Mulvane St., Mulvane.
The state's casino review board is scheduled to decide in early December whether to move ahead with the project at the I-35 exit near Mulvane. The casino would be managed by Lakes Entertainment.
If approved, the resort is projected to open in September 2011, followed by the opening of a hotel in March 2012.
