It is time to set new laws in place limiting all elected senators and congressmen and women to a maximum of two terms, as the president is. Let's begin the process.

* * *

Sarah Palin is not qualified to be president, but neither is Barack Obama.

* * *

Palin is laughing all the way to the bank at the wandering sheep following her.

* * *

I would love to see Palin run for president. But she'd better pick a good vice president, because you know she would quit in a year or two.

* * *

I believe that every politician should have to answer the question, "Will you be under the same health care program that I will be under?" If they say "no," then don't vote for them, and if they are an incumbent, vote them out.

* * *

When will Kansans wake up and boot the current legislators out of office? These guys don't care about Kansans. If they did, they would support the health care bill.

* * *

* * *

If you think KU coach Mark Mangino is rough, send your kid to the military.

* * *

The Kansas Coliseum would make a great place for a casino, but Wichita is too blind to see the light. Wake up, Wichita.

* * *

* * *

Three blocks from the downtown arena (and next-door to Old Town) stands an embarrassing, crumbling eyesore: the Coleman warehouse. The arena parking garage issue could have been solved at this convenient spot long ago.

* * *

Our 21st Street neighbors have apparently never heard the phrase "Don't bite the hand that feeds you."

* * *

I wish they would put a Lord's Diner next to Wichita City Council member Sue Schlapp's house.

The U.S. Postal Service should have gone to five-day delivery years ago. The only people who don't want five-day delivery are the leaders of the postal unions.
