There were 15 mass layoffs totaling 2,880 jobs in Kansas in October.
That compared to 14 layoffs and 945 jobs in September, and 22 layoffs and 2,088 jobs in August.
A mass layoff consists of 50 or more workers laid off during a five-week period.
