Wichita home sale prices fell 2.45 percent inSeptemberversus the same month in 2008, according to First American CoreLogic, a company that gathers housing data.
This compares to a price gap of .87 percent year-to-year in August.
The company projects that the price of Wichita homes, including distressed sales, will rise nearly 1 percent by September 2010.
First American is predicting that most markets will start to see price increases beginning in the spring.
