After being diagnosed with brain cancer and losing her job, a single mother of three is struggling to get by.
The brain tumor was removed 16 months ago, but with no medical insurance, the bills aren’t being paid.
“Since (the surgery) I have lost my job,” the woman wrote in her application. “My future for myself and my kids remains very uncertain.”
With more than $10,000 in medical bills remaining, keeping up with the electric bill and food costs are just some of the struggles she is going through.
Social Security disability is her only income. The children’s ages range from 9 to 13.
“Your financial support would help my kids and I get through another month and would be greatly appreciated,” she said.
