WICHITA —Local government and Westar Energy are offering free wood left over from their work trimming around power lines and in public places.
The wood is at the north parking lot at the Sedgwick County Zoo, 555 Zoo Blvd. You can pick it up weekdays through February from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Wood chips are also available.
No sawing will be allowed at the zoo.
