Rod Henricks

Product manager

Bunting Magnetics Co.

Henricks, 43, rejoined the Newton-based company in July as product manager for Bunting's metal detection group. The Wichita State University graduate previously worked there as a general sales manager from 2001-03.

"I really enjoyed my first time here and welcomed the opportunity to rejoin the company in this new capacity," Henricks said. "It's a different role than before, but I still have extensive involvement with the sales force and our customer base."

Bunting Magnetics, which is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year, added a line of metal detection and detection-separation equipment in March 2000. Henricks is responsible for the product line and growth of the company's metal detection service department. He is also overseeing Bunting's worldwide sales effort for the product line and new product development.

"The intent is to protect processing equipment from damage by metal contamination in the product flow, or by inspecting the finished product to assure the customer it is metal-contaminant free," Henricks said. "We are involved in chemical, pharmaceutical, beverage, meat, food and plastics."
