It's important for the United States to try the Sept. 11 mastermind in a New York court, because that is where the crime was committed. We need to show the world that we are a nation of laws.

* * *

So the Obama administration wants to bring the "infamous five" to New York City to try them. If one or more of these terrorists gets off, Obama can write off the next election. The GOP could run the ghost of Richard Nixon and win.

* * *

I am disturbed that anyone thinks that the Sept. 11 masterminds should be afforded the constitutional rights that Americans get. They are not Americans.

I hope the people who spoke out against putting a Lord's Diner at 21st and Grove realize how much suffering they have caused. Their neighbors are continuing to go to bed hungry.

* * *

Maybe our city leaders should look into a Lord's Diner in the Wichita Mall. After all, there are a lot of poor folks in Hilltop and Planeview who could benefit.

To the burglarized College Hill residents: Put signs on your front and back doors saying, "We have guns, and we will use them." Then do.

I call on all property owners in Wichita to join together and sue USD 259 for wasting our money by suing the state for more funding.

Let's first determine how many illegals are among the students we're expected to educate. Once that question is answered, I think we'll know why there's a funding problem. Then we can determine a solution.

I'm of Cherokee descent. I laugh when I hear people complain about Spanish overtaking the English language in the United States. Better learn Spanish, like the Cherokee had to learn English. It's coming.

I heard that NASA spent $80 million and found 25 gallons of water on the moon. At the government's usual rates, NASA should be applauded for its thriftiness.

* * *

Now that they have discovered ice and water on the moon, one can only hope that the next discovery will be Scotch.

Thank you to the woman who observed a man watching me suspiciously at the theater on Friday and kindly walked me out to make sure I was safe. You are a guardian angel.

oI'm already tired of Christmas commercials on TV, and I haven't even had my turkey yet.
