Farms in 12 Kansas counties are eligible for federal disaster loans as the result of high winds and hail that struck those areas from July 17 to Sept. 3.
The counties involved are Barton, Cheyenne, Ellsworth, Logan, McPherson, Reno, Rawlins, Rice, Sherman, Stafford, Thomas and Wallace.
