What team has the longest active streak of going to a bowl game?

Florida State is the current leader, having gone to 27 consecutive bowls dating back to the 1982 season.

The Seminoles still have some work to do to extend that streak, standing at 5-5 after Saturday's 41-28 win against Wake Forest. FSU has Maryland and Florida remaining on the schedule.

Their streak is third longest in NCAA history, trailing Nebraska's 35-year stretch from 1969 to 2003 and Michigan's 33-year streak, which ended last season.

Current long active streaks include Florida (18), Virginia Tech (16), Georgia (12), Georgia Tech (12), Texas (11), Boston College (10) and Oklahoma (10). Only Georgia is in jeopardy of not extending that streak this year.
