Opinion Line Extra (Nov. 11)

None of us would wish our president to fail doing the right things. Upholding our Constitution, protecting America, securing our borders and bolstering our economy are the right things. Robin Hood ideals of wealth redistribution are not. God save the working class. President Obama will not.

George Bush was a liberal, but at least he had enough brains to cut taxes and get America back to work.

As my dad used to say, "All work in honorable."

If you have lost confidence in our youth today, the two Blakes have to restore it. That was a wonderful story by The Eagle on the two high school football players ("Two Blakes at top of game," Nov. 6 Sports).

The Holiday Tables event at the Wichita Center for the Arts was disappointing this year. It seemed like more retail stores than individuals did tables. Holiday Tables didn't start out that way. I'd rather see what individuals can do. I can go to a retail store any day of the week.
