WICHITA — A robber held up a south Wichita convenience store early this morning, police said.

The man walked into the Kwik Shop at 2750 S. Oliver at 2:35 a.m. and pointed a gun at the 44-year-old clerk, police said. At the robber's demand, the clerk put cash from the register and five cartons of cigarettes into a red sports bag.

The man then left the store and walked north.
