WICHITA — Police arrested 12 men and one teenage boy during a "john" sting in north Wichita over the weekend.

Female officers worked undercover in the 900 block of North Broadway between 7 p.m. Friday and 5 a.m. Saturday. Those arrested ranged in age from 16 to 46, and the offenses alleged included drug crimes and patronizing a prostitute.

The sting was the result of complaints from citizens living in the area.
