WICHITA -- John Foley, a lead pilot for the Blue Angels, and Jim Morris, whose story inspired "The Rookie," will be among the speakers next week in Wichita at the Kansas Hospital Association's annual convention and trade show.

Exceeding the Challenge is the theme for the event, Thursday and Friday at the Hyatt Regency and Century II. Nearly 200 exhibitors will participate in the trade show, and 1,200 are expected for the convention.

Additional speakers include Ron McMillan, co-author of the Crucial Conversations series of studies and books; Charlie Cook, Washington political analyst; Susan Dentzer, editor-in-chief of Health Affairs; and corporate comedian David Glickman.

The Kansas Hospital Association is a not-for-profit association of health care provider organizations and individuals. Its membership includes 194 member facilities, of which 125 are full-service community hospitals.
