The Kansas Board of Accountancy has announced that 53 candidates successfully passed the computerized examination in the July/August 2009 exam window. Those from Wichita and the surrounding area include: Kristen Windscheffel, Kingman; Reid Hash and Michelle Stewart, Park City; Rosalind Alford, Julie Hunke, WelslyKight, Kelsey Larsen, Kevin Mayer, Sandra Mayle and Brandon Oakes, Wichita.

Lucynda Raben and Jason Wagle recently attended the International Congress of Oral Implantologists World Congress. Raben was awarded the Mastership credentials for her work in the restorative field of implants. Wagle received the Diplomate credentials for his work in the surgical field of implant placement.

Alma Fulton, a registered nurse from Wichita, has been awarded the 2009 Honorary Recognition Award from the Kansas State Nurses Association. Sharon Niemann of Goddard was awarded the Nurse of the Year-Administration award and Jean Jones of El Dorado was awarded the Nurse of the Year-Practice award.
