Movies

"Night of the Living Dead"

The granddaddy of all zombie flicks, this 1968 horror tale from George Romero has become a cult classic. Radiation causes the dead to rise from their graves and go in search of sustenance: specifically, human flesh. If you haven't seen it and think that because of its age, it can't be that scary or gory compared with more recent cinematic fare, think again. 5, 7:15, 9:30 and 11:45 p.m., AMC, Channel 55.

"Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde"

Arguably the ultimate story of split personality, the Robert Louis Stevenson classic gets another screen workout in this 1941 version starring Spencer Tracy in the title role — er, roles. Scientist Henry Jekyll uses a series of potions on himself until they alter him completely, converting him into the murderous Hyde. Co-stars include Ingrid Bergman and Lana Turner. 7 p.m., TCM, Channel 65.

Series

"CSI: Miami"

A newly divorced woman (Christa Miller) is celebrating the end of her marriage when her ex-husband drops in — hanging from a noose. Horatio and the team determine it was murder, not suicide, but this is no simple whodunit. 7 p.m., CBS and KWCH, Channel 12.

Sports

College Football

Kansas State at Oklahoma. 6 p.m., FSN, Channel 34.

MLB Baseball

World Series, Game 3: New York Yankees at Philadelphia Phillies. 6:30 p.m., Fox and KSAS, Channel 4/24.
