Five-vehicle collision shuts down westbound Kellogg

WICHITA — A series of collisions involving five vehicles — one of them a semi-trailer truck — has shut down westbound Kellogg near the Sedgwick/Butler county line this afternoon.

The chain-reaction accident was reported at 4 p.m. just east of 143rd Street East, a Sedgwick County dispatcher said. While no serious injuries have been reported, westbound Kellogg has been shut down until further notice.

Commuters are being urged to use alternate routes if possible.
