What if the government made the mega-banks we bailed out reduce all credit card interest rates to, say, 10 percent, effective immediately? Then everyone who has had to live on his credit cards because of unemployment (or chronic consumerism) would have a prayer of repaying the debt. Wouldn't that be the same as banks repaying taxpayers?

If the government wants to cut executive pay by 90 percent on those companies that took tax bailout money, shouldn't Congress and the president also take a 90 percent pay cut for taking and wasting taxpayers' money?

Congratulations to the other major news networks for refusing to interview "pay czar" Ken Feinberg if Fox News was going to be excluded at the Obama administration's request. Looks like the honeymoon is over.

Wow, there's so much hate and unhappiness out there.

Will every health care worker who refuses the H1N1 vaccine kindly announce yourself by attaching a large red "F" (for flu) to your chest? Then those who want to stay healthy can avoid you, as they say, like the plague. Ditto for parents who won't vaccinate their children.

Here would be a great opportunity for Wichita: Build a plant to build Saturns. It would bring jobs to Wichita and save local business. We could also work with new car companies looking for a manufacturer. It would help stabilize the economy during airplane industry downturns.
