Two items you'll want to consider having this winter as part of a fashionable wardrobe: a great handbag and a pair of boots.

With such a large selection under $100, boots are more affordable than ever. If you can swing it, get more than one pair to add extra versatility to your wardrobe.

More good news is you can get the heel height you want. Sky-high heels and even platform boots are available, but so are styles that have a mid or low heel.

The tall, over-the-knee style is supposed to be the big trend of the season, but other styles, such as the low "bootie," will more likely be big sellers.

With handbags ranging in style from large totes and hobo bags to small lady-like purses, you're sure to find at least one to take you through the season.

Whether trendy or basic, boots and bags are an easy way to update your wardrobe and add color and texture to any outfit.
