"Sorority Wars"
If you've never been part of a college fraternity or sorority, this 2009 comedy-drama might be all Greek to you, as Lucy Hale ("Privileged") stars as Katie, a freshman who has been groomed since birth to continue her mother's (Courtney Thorne-Smith) legacy with Delta, which she and her best friend (Faith Ford) founded. Things get tense, then, when Katie decides to pledge a rival sorority instead. 8 and 10 p.m., Lifetime, Channel 38.
Movie
"Mutiny on the Bounty"
The uprising aboard the HMS Bounty in the 1780s has been adapted for the screen several times, and while this 1935 version isn't the most accurate, it's considered the best from a dramatic perspective. Charles Laughton, Clark Gable and Franchot Tone were all nominated for the best actor Oscar for their portrayals of flog-happy Capt. Bligh, lead mutineer Fletcher Christian and caught-in-the-middle midshipman Roger Byam, respectively. 7 p.m., TCM, Channel 65.
Sports
College Football
Kansas at Colorado (6 p.m., FSN, Channel 34); Missouri at Oklahoma State (8:15 p.m., ESPN2, Channel 33).
NASCAR Racing
Jimmie Johnson was flying high in the Chase by the time he arrived for the fall race at Lowe's Motor Speedway last year, but Jeff Burton wasn't willing to concede anything. He proved that with his victory here on the 1.5-mile quad oval, a win that temporarily moved him to second in points behind Johnson, a position he would eventually relinquish to Carl Edwards to finish sixth. Today as a non-Chase contender, he seeks to defend that title in the NASCAR Banking 500. 6:30 p.m., ABC and KAKE, Channel 10.
MLB Baseball
American League Championship Series Game 2: Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim at New York Yankees. 6:30 p.m., Fox and KSAS, Channel 4/24.
