Senior Demarcus Robinson rushed for 239 yards and three touchdowns after returning the opening kickoff 89 yards for another touchdown in the Grizzlies’ Class 6A-District 7 victory.
With 1,386 yards, Robinson needs 488 yards over his final two games to break Bryce Brown’s year-old City League single-season rushing record. Robinson is 307 yards from his own season best, set last season.
Grizzlies quarterback Ethan Chadick completed 8 of 12 passes for 130 yards. Markel Oliver caught four passes for 81 yards and two scores.
