WICHITA — A woman upset with a man for taking her crack pipe decided to attack him with a knife this morning, Wichita police said.

Only she stabbed the wrong man.

The incident happened at 3:20 a.m. in an apartment at 1446 N. Hillside, police said. The 29-year-old woman said she was trying to stab a man named Peewee for taking her crack pipe when she accidentally stabbed a 43-year-old man in the chest and one of his hands.

He was taken to Wesley Medical Center for treatment of wounds that were serious but not considered life-threatening, police said.
