(Wingdings 171) Away We Go (R)
A couple (John Krasinski and Maya Rudolph) expecting their first child travel around the country trying to find the perfect place to start their family. Along the way, they have misadventures and make fresh connections with an assortment of relatives and old friends — some whose lives haven't changed for the better. This is a mellower departure from director Sam Mendes ("American Beauty," "Revolutionary Road"), and while the secondary characters are too quirky for their own good, the journey ends up being a warmly emotional meditation on family, love and what it means to be "home."
