DA is fine with release of arrest details

District Attorney Nola Foulston said the decision to release detailed information about the BTK investigation was made with the realization that the details were not likely to be the focus of Rader's sentencing hearing next month.

"It's not relevant to the sentencing," she said of the detectives' actions.

Foulston also said she thought it was appropriate that the investigators involved in the case should be the ones to discuss their strategy.

"They should be the ones releasing that information," she said.
