WICHITA — The Subway near Pawnee and Oliver in south Wichita was robbed early Monday afternoon, police said.
The robber came into the restaurant at 2:25 p.m. and demanded money from the register, a clerk told police. He then went into a back room and took money from the safe.
The suspect then left through a back door in the Subway, which is in the 4900 block of East Pawnee.
He is a white or Hispanic male, about 5-feet-7 and 140 pounds. He was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, white jeans, white shoes and a clear Halloween mask.
