The Eastborough city council has approved a resolution asking Wichita to fluoridate its water, according to Mayor Thom Rosenberg.
Wichitas past decisions not to fluoridate the water supply have been validated by recent decisions by cities such as Santa Fe and Albuquerque to stop fluoridating theirs, a Wichita chiropractor said Wednesday at a meeting sponsored by fluoridation opponents.
Wichitans for Healthy Teeth submitted 11,333 signatures on petitions in support of adding fluoride to Wichita’s water to the city clerk’s office on Friday.
